If you haven’t already guessed,
my name is Dana Provo
I started my photography company in July of 2019 after years of photographing friends and family. It was finally time to open up and start booking real clients, just like you!
My passion for photography started when I was young, always taking pictures of my family, animals, and any vacations I went on. I had one of those disposable film cameras that we would take up to the convenience store to have developed. Then I grew into my first small digital camera. There was no stopping me there. I took a fim class in high school and one digital photography class in college before I felt I needed to do this on my own.
While I have always been a creative person, dabbling in writing, crochet, and crafting, I have always been pulled back to photography. It gives me that creative outlet I need when I’m photographing weddings and portraits.
I live in Chesterfield, Virginia with my husband, Kyle and our feisty adorable French Bulldog, Lemon. We have been married for over 12 years and both love going to the movies, playing games together, and just wandering around different places.
my family
Kyle has been my rock throughout this whole journey and puts up with me when I'm super busy and don’t have much time for him. He drives me to be a better person and researches ways to expand the business as if it was his own. I know everyone always says this about their spouse, but he truly is the best husband a girl can ask for!
horses
Horses are my jam, but not my favorite animal! Ever since I was in kindergarten, I remember loving horses. I grew up with them, riding, grooming, and playing with kids at the barn. Horses are in my blood and I will never not like them (unless they want to step on my foot)! But they weren’t always my favorite animal. I really love giraffes and hippos. Those African creatures are so beautiful and fun to look at.

I love exclamation marks!! I really have to think about how many I can add to a certain sentence or paragraph because they make things seem so exciting, and I’m an exciting person! How can you not love a good exclamation mark?!
